How do I mediate at CCAP?

All CCAP mediations must be court-ordered. This is the first step to mediate at CCAP. To begin scheduling, we need an Order of Referral signed by the Judge of your case. Attorneys, if you are interested in being a volunteer mediator for CCAP, please complete this form

How much will my mediation be?

Mediation fees will be determined by the levels indicated on the order.

Do I need an attorney to go through mediation?

CCAP does not require the parties to have legal representation when mediating at CCAP.

Does CCAP offer Zoom mediations?

CCAP is currently holding mediations via Zoom and in-person at the mediator’s discretion.

How do I read the CCAP calendar?

If a mediator is taken, that will be indicated by a line through their name. If their name does not have a line through it, they are available to schedule. 

I need legal representation. Can CCAP help?

CCAP cannot give attorney referrals. Use the Collin County Bar Association directory to locate a local Collin County attorney.

Does CCAP do full-day and half-day mediations?

Mediations are scheduled for a full day unless otherwise ordered by the Court.
